Hilf Telecom was founded by Ofer Hilf in 1994 in Amsterdam and started services offering Dutch customers alternative cost saving ways to call long distance. Since then a lot has changed, the telecoms market was liberalized, many telecom companies came and went, either being bought by others or going out of business due to growing too much too fast.
By focusing on high service standard with a personal touch and controlled growth Hilf Telecom is now a veteran company with operations in seven countries with a main focus on the Netherlands and the UK.
Hilf Telecom is nowadays a Dutch OLO with both its own Dutch and International network and registered with the Dutch telecoms regulator OPTA. Hilf Telecom is not only interconnected to Dutch former incumbent KPN Telecom, but also to most major carriers including most former European incumbents and multiple alternative carriers, either by TDM/SS7 or VoIP.
Still focusing on high personal service standards and low rates Hilf Telecom is not only providing fixed and mobile telecommunication services to both residential and business customers but also to other telecommunications companies with own direct routes or longstanding third party routes with high quality.
