Hours: 08.30am - 17.30pm Mon-Fri



Hilf Telecom is a fast-moving Telecoms Network based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. We are dynamic, growing and provide specialist wholesale telecommunication services to clients based around the globe. We are now seeking an Account Manager to join the team. This is a mixed and varied, proactive role with great growth potential. The successful candidate will be required to work remotely from their resident country and travel to the Amsterdam Head Office from time to time for training and sales /management meetings.


Main purpose of role - To support, grow and develop existing voice clients and to proactively find new clients in an international business market.


Responsibilities include


  • Contact potential clients and find interest for our telecoms services
  • Usage Increase - Monitoring existing accounts and looking at ways to increase volumes (developing accounts)
  • Communicate weekly rates and targets with existing partners
  • Weekend on-call duty from time to time
  • Internal account management for a large volume of transactional clients
  • Sales administration including setting up client accounts and regular reports to management
  • Liaison with Marketing and Operations to service our clients through regular marketing communications
  • Identifying business opportunities for growth and potential clients who may become developing or key accounts
  • Attend trade shows


Essential skills/Experience


  • Previous experience in sales
  • Perfect English writing and reading
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Good knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
  • Must be able to efficiently create rates and Traffic swap deals
  • Ability to work efficiently with finance
  • Desire to succeed and build a career within a progressive organization
  • Credible and professional communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative and ability to work under pressure
  • Enthusiastic and positive attitude
  • Confidence in own ability to sell and be successful
  • Educated to degree level, or minimum 2 years Telecoms experience




  • Fluent in second Language; including Spanish, Russian, French, Polish, Urdu, Arabic, Portuguese
  • Experience with international client management
